Content Corrections, Complaints and Reports

Tell us what appears to be wrong

Good Taste Awards accepts reports about website errors, public product records, assessment concerns, award-mark misuse, privacy, accessibility and service. Describe the facts first and identify the exact page, product or decision involved.

Acknowledgement of a report does not prove an allegation, suspend an award or guarantee a particular outcome.

02

Is a website page inaccurate?

Provide the page address, heading or passage concerned, the problem you observed and the correction you believe is accurate. Add a source or screenshot only where it helps identify the issue.

Typographical and navigation errors can usually be handled as content corrections. A requested change to an assessment result follows a separate review.

03

Is a product or producer record wrong?

Identify the exact product, variant, producer and public record. Explain whether the concern relates to identity, category, star, status, image, link or another published fact.

A producer may request correction of an inaccurate factual detail. Promotional preference is not, by itself, a factual error.

04

Do you have an assessment or result concern?

An entrant may request review of a supported concern about process, calculation, data, product scope, comment accuracy, publication or award-mark use. A difference of taste opinion alone does not establish an error and does not trigger a replacement preference vote.

Use the secure entrant service for confidential product information. Read the review and correction guidance.

05

Have you seen a misleading award claim?

Report the product, producer, star, location and wording shown. An image or page address can help establish whether the mark or result has been applied to the wrong product, variation or status.

Do not buy a product or engage with a publisher solely to create evidence. Check the public record first.

06

Is the concern about privacy or accessibility?

For personal-data access, correction, deletion or another applicable request, read the Privacy Notice. For a barrier affecting a page, document or service, read Accessibility and describe the affected task.

07

What information helps?

Depending on the concern, useful information may include:

  • an entry, result or verification reference;
  • the exact product and variant;
  • the affected page or published detail;
  • a screenshot, image, receipt or relevant communication;
  • the rule or statement you believe applies;
  • a concise sequence of events;
  • the correction or review ground requested.

Do not send passwords, full payment credentials, unnecessary health information, private assessor details or unrelated confidential product data.

08

What happens after a report?

The concern is identified, checked against the relevant evidence and considered by the responsible role. The response may be a correction, explanation, restriction, formal review, referral or a finding that no change is supported.

Public information may be corrected where it was materially inaccurate. Confidential assessment evidence and protected identities are not disclosed merely because a report has been made.

09

A report does not automatically change an award

The current verification record remains the public source for award status while a concern is considered. If an authorized decision changes that status, the public record is updated with the appropriate correction history.
