Entry Status and Assessment Stages

Prospective entrants can check eligibility, prepare product information and submit through the secure entry service while capacity remains available. An entry is not confirmed until the secure account shows acceptance.

Organization, product, category, Target Population, preparation and declarations are reviewed. Operations may request a factual clarification before confirming the assessed-product scope and shipment pathway.

The product has not yet been authorized for dispatch. Do not send a sample until the secure account supplies the product-specific code, quantity, condition, destination and delivery channel.

The shipment instruction is active and the required product has not yet been accepted at receipt. Use the tracking and contact page if a delivery issue arises.

Receipt has recorded the delivery. Received does not always mean accepted; reconciliation, quantity, identity and condition checks may still be underway.

A held state requires clarification, replacement, additional evidence or another controlled disposition. Follow the secure instruction rather than sending another package independently.

The accepted sample is under controlled storage and scheduling. Panel identity, exact service order and provisional assessment information remain confidential.

The product is moving through its applicable pathway. The initial panel contains eight valid responses. Later stages occur only where progression is authorized and the required equivalent supply is available.

The website does not publish live scores or suggest an outcome from the length of this stage.

Candidate, confirmation, incidents, product identity and release conditions are being checked. A provisional candidate is not an authorized star.

The secure account contains the authorized entrant communication and comment. Awarded products follow the applicable publication and award-resource pathway. No-star products still receive the controlled comment after a valid initial assessment.

An awarded product appears in the public directory only after publication authorization. The public product record may be released separately from the private entrant communication.

The eligibility, category and method pages remain available so a future entry can be prepared accurately. Do not send samples or rely on an unconfirmed reopening statement.

Use the secure result or entry identifier when contacting Good Taste Awards. A private entrant status and a public publication status can legitimately differ, but an incorrect identity, star or current award state should be reported.
