Verify an Award

Check that the public record matches:

• the exact product name and variant;
• the producer;
• the star shown;
• the product category;
• any pack, recipe or format detail that defines the assessed product;
• the current public status.

If these details do not agree, do not assume that the claim applies.

An active record confirms that the named product is currently authorized to claim the star shown, subject to the product scope and award-mark conditions attached to that result.

It does not confirm health, safety, nutrition, sustainability, origin, authenticity, price, value, availability or a ranking against another product.

Corrected means that public information has been amended. Read the current record rather than relying on an earlier image or quotation.

Suspended means that public recognition is not currently available for use while the stated status applies.

Withdrawn means that permission to claim and display the recorded star has been removed.

Check spelling and product details, then search Awarded Products. A missing result may reflect an incorrect identifier, a product that has no published award or a status change.

The absence of a search result does not by itself prove deliberate misuse. Report the exact claim so that the product and evidence can be checked.

Look carefully for:

• a producer award presented as though every product were recognized;
• a star applied to a different flavour or recipe;
• an outdated result image;
• a mark whose star level differs from the public record;
• wording that turns a taste award into a health, safety or superiority claim.

Provide the exact product, producer, star, location and wording shown. Include an image or page address where available, but do not purchase a product solely to create evidence.
