1 Purpose
This document sets the defined parameters and decision conditions for Product Classification and Applicability Schedule for Good Taste Awards.
2 Scope
This document applies to the requirements, decisions, records, controls, and outputs expressly identified under Product Classification and Applicability Schedule. Award scope and exclusions are defined by GTA-STD-100; this document shall not create an additional award dimension. Operational prerequisites identified here affect assessment validity and never constitute product certification.
3 Authority and interpretation
The Assessment Operations Lead owns GTA-SCH-301; the Standards Authority approves it. formal verbs, defined terms, stable requirement identities, policy constants, and generated representations shall be interpreted under GTA-GOV-002, GTA-GOV-005, and the defined registers.

4 Requirements
GTA-SCH-301-R001 — Classification hierarchy
The Assessment Operations Lead shall assign one main product category, one Product Type, one Evaluation Method Profile, any applicable Method Variant, one Operational Category Module, and any applicable Sensory and Service Tags.
GTA-SCH-301-R002 — Classification identity separation
The Assessment Operations Lead shall preserve distinct identifiers for public discovery, product form, tasting method, operational control, intended audience, and individual product instruction.
GTA-SCH-301-R003 — Ambient ready-to-eat
The Assessment Operations Lead shall classify shelf-stable products requiring no material preparation.
GTA-SCH-301-R004 — Bakery and confectionery
The Assessment Operations Lead shall classify baked goods, confectionery, chocolate, and snack structures.
GTA-SCH-301-R005 — Sauces and condiments
The Assessment Operations Lead shall classify sauces, condiments, oils, spreads, concentrates, and carriers.
GTA-SCH-301-R006 — Prepared drinks
The Assessment Operations Lead shall classify tea, coffee, cocoa, infusion, extraction, and mixed prepared beverages.
GTA-SCH-301-R007 — Ready-to-drink beverages
The Assessment Operations Lead shall classify non-alcoholic beverages served without material preparation.
GTA-SCH-301-R008 — Alcoholic beverages
The Assessment Operations Lead shall classify products requiring alcohol-specific portion and participation controls.
GTA-SCH-301-R009 — Chilled and frozen
The Assessment Operations Lead shall classify products requiring temperature, thaw, melt, or cold-chain control.
GTA-SCH-301-R010 — Heated foods
The Assessment Operations Lead shall classify prepared meals and dishes requiring defined heating or cooking.
GTA-SCH-301-R011 — Meat and seafood
The Assessment Operations Lead shall classify products requiring protein-specific storage, preparation, and service control.
GTA-SCH-301-R012 — Cross-category products
The Assessment Operations Lead shall resolve products with multiple components through ordinary consumption identity, dominant structure, representative preparation, and operational control.
GTA-SCH-301-R013 — Unclassifiable products
The Assessment Operations Lead shall authorize a individual product instruction without changing the core method.
5 Conformity and records
Conformity with Product Classification and Applicability Schedule requires evidence comprising the source evidence, defined decision, accountable role, and independent or automated verification. The record for each applicable GTA-SCH-301 requirement shall permit reconstruction without relying on an unrecorded explanation.
Evidence created under GTA-SCH-301 shall use stable identifiers, immutable event sequence numbers, and machine event timestamps. A correction shall be append-only. A nonconformity shall place the affected object in a non-releasable state until its consequence and confirmed disposition are recorded. Role combination remains subject to the mandatory separation rules.
